The Arrábida Natural Park is located on the Setúbal Peninsula, covering the municipalities of Setúbal, Sesimbra, and Palmela. It is about 40 km from Lisbon, making it easily accessible for a day trip.

This marine park covers 52 km² of protected coastline, where you can practice activities such as diving and snorkeling, being able to observe anemones, starfish, and various species of fish.
The park offers various activities for tourists, such as hiking, climbing, mountain biking, and nature observation. The trails take visitors to places of unique beauty, with emphasis on the Serra da Arrábida and the Risco, the largest limestone escarpment in Europe.
In addition to nature, the park has a rich cultural history. You can visit the Convento da Arrábida, located on top of a mountain, and the Santuário de Cabo Espichel. There are also archaeological remains from Roman and medieval times, such as fortresses and windmills.
Be sure to try the famous Queijo de Azeitão, made with sheep's milk and thistle. The region is also known for the production of Moscatel de Setúbal, a generous wine that has a long local tradition. In addition, you can taste the honey produced in the mountains, which is unique for its flavor.
Arrábida has a rich geology, with rare rock formations, such as the Brecha da Arrábida. The region is also famous for its caves and sinkholes, ideal for exploring if you like speleology.
