Chiringuito Beach is situated in the Guia area, in the municipality of Albufeira, nestled between two rocky outcrops that frame its sandy shore. The Atlantic Ocean stretches out before you, offering a wide perspective of the horizon and the interplay of light on the water.
The surroundings combine small cliffs with low-lying vegetation typical of the Algarve, creating a natural scene where the contrast between the exposed rocks and the strip of sand invites moments of contemplation.
Inside the cove, the surf is gentler than on open beaches, making it a suitable spot for seaside strolls. The continuous sound of waves crashing against the stones complements the tranquil atmosphere.
During the month of June, lifeguards are usually present, providing an added layer of safety and a point of support for those who choose this corner to relax.
At high tide, the sandy area is almost entirely submerged, revealing only small patches of sand between the rocks. As the tide recedes, wider coves emerge, where the sandy surface extends, allowing for the exploration of natural pools formed in the outcrops.
The contrast between the fine sand and the sculptural rocks creates a space for discovery, ideal for observing algae and small marine organisms in the pools, as well as for appreciating the play of light and shadow on the cliffs.
