This section of Praia da Oura is located on the eastern side of this well-known bay in Albufeira. It is sheltered beneath an imposing cliff that defines the local coastal landscape.

Integrated into the surroundings of Quinta da Pedra dos Bicos, this part of the beach forms a natural transition between the more central area of Praia da Oura and the neighboring Praia de Santa Eulália. The rock formation of Pedra dos Bicos defines one of its extremes.

The Sandy Area and the Water

Praia da Oura (East) is distinguished by its sandy area, which is quite extensive, offering ample space for visitors. The golden sand invites long walks along the seashore.

The main access to the sandy area of this section of the beach is typically via a staircase located at the western end, near the rocky demarcation.
