The Moinho da Canada (Canada Mill) is located in the village of Brinches, within the Monte dos Coentros area, in the municipality of Serpa. Its position is striking, situated on the left bank of the Guadiana River, north of Serpa Bridge. This location allows it to be part of a series of river mills that, together, harnessed the river's force, sharing a common dam in some cases.

The surrounding area is characterized by the Guadiana riverside landscape, a setting where the tranquility of the water and the vegetation of the banks combine. Although close to an urbanized area, the mill maintains an intimate relationship with the river's natural environment.
