In their current form, the Municipal Swimming Pools began operation on November 16, 2015. This facility was designed with an architectural project by Frois do Amaral, resulting in a modern and well-equipped structure. Being indoor facilities, the pools allow for year-round use, regardless of weather conditions, thus ensuring a constant space for leisure and sports practice for visitors.

Aquatic Facilities

The complex features two pools, both heated, designed for different needs. The main pool measures 25 meters long by 16 meters wide, with a depth ranging between 1.10 meters and 1.60 meters, ideal for swimming. The second, smaller pool measures 16 meters by 8 meters, with depths between 0.70 meters and 1.50 meters, suitable for more recreational activities or for those seeking shallower depths. Maintaining the water temperature in both pools provides added comfort to their users.
