The Parish Church of Carvalhais, located in the heart of the parish of Carvalhais, Portugal, is a remarkable historical treasure.
Replacing a church in ruins, its construction began in 1718 and was completed in 1721. This church is dedicated to Saint James and features a stone sculpture of the saint on the main facade.
In addition, the church features side chapels that were completed in the same year as its inauguration, along with a quadrangular tower that houses three bells.
