The central point of observation from the viewpoint is the imposing Pitões das Júnias Waterfall. With a remarkable height, estimated at about thirty meters, the Pitões das Júnias waterfall impresses with its power and beauty. Its clear waters, originating from the Pitões stream, plunge over granitic outcrops, forming a crystalline lagoon at its base. It is one of the most striking natural phenomena in the region, revealing the grandeur of the mountain range.
The viewpoint was designed to provide a comprehensive and safe view of the waterfall and the surrounding environment. Access to the observation point is via a structure that integrates into the landscape, including a wooden walkway and a staircase with over two hundred steps.
