Located in the parish of Cerva and Limões, municipality of Ribeira de Pena, district of Vila Real. Access is via the EN 312, with a detour to Cabriz and then along a path to the hill.
Ancient fortified settlement originating in Proto-history, later occupied by the Romans. It is an example of the ancient human occupation in the region.
Parts of the walls, platforms where dwellings stood and remnants of defensive structures are still visible. Fragments of pottery, Roman tiles (tegulae) and granite millstones are found on site.
Considered a Property of Public Interest since 1990, protected by national legislation.
