Its position, between the localities of Tinhela de Baixo and Filhagosa, in the Bornes de Aguiar region, offers a unique perspective on the Transmontana landscape. The Roman Dam of Tinhela de Baixo, South dates back to the Roman era and represents a crucial piece of a vast network of hydraulic engineering.
