The building housing the Pedras Salgadas Thermal SPA, a historical landmark in the region, has undergone a profound rehabilitation. This project was developed by architects Luís Rebelo de Andrade and Tiago Rebelo de Andrade, who managed to restore the space's distinction and essence, creating a remarkable fusion between existing heritage and a contemporary architectural approach. The intervention resulted in an environment that invites introspection and visual comfort.

The Essence of Thermal Water

The core of the Thermal SPA lies in the uniqueness of Pedras Water. Sourced from four local springs, this natural mineral water is widely recognized for its exclusive therapeutic properties, scientifically studied and valued over decades. Its composition is particular: it is classified as hypersaline, carbogaseous, bicarbonate, and sodic. It maintains a constant temperature of 17ºC and a pH of 6.4, elements that decisively contribute to its intrinsic benefits and treatment efficacy.

Well-being and Hydrotherapy Experiences

The Pedras Salgadas Thermal SPA was designed as a refuge for rest and the recovery of balance. Its facilities include a heated indoor pool with a walking channel, a sauna, and a hammam. To complement the experience, it offers equipment such as hydromassage and various types of showers, including jet showers and Vichy showers. The space also incorporates several rooms dedicated to specialized treatments and relaxation areas, where hydrotherapy and massages are pillars in the pursuit of well-being and health.
