This cultural facility opened its doors in its current form in July 2018, resulting from a profound renovation of the former Luís Teixeira Cultural Center, which had existed since 1993. This intervention not only modernized the interior but also gave a new image to the surrounding area, honoring the name of the benevolent Valpaços businessman Luís Teixeira.

The Luís Teixeira Auditorium stands out for its modern infrastructure, designed to provide comfort and a quality experience for its visitors.
