- Located on Monte de Góios, in the parish of Lanhelas, municipality of Caminha.
- Close to the Minho River, with good views of the surrounding landscape.
- Large granite slab with about 250 m², covered with rock engravings.
- The engravings were made during the Bronze Age.
- Classified as a National Monument since 1974.
- Composed of about 40 figures, including spirals, lines, and circular shapes.
- Representations of animals, such as goats, engraved with techniques of the time.
- Some engravings have been lost due to stone extraction in the area.
- Discovered by researcher Abel Viana between the 1920s and 1930s.
- Part of the rock art ensemble of the Northwest Peninsula.
- Access can be difficult, with little signage and information on site.
- Place without much protection, and may be covered by vegetation.
- Close to the ruins of an old pyrotechnics factory.
- Wear comfortable shoes, as the terrain can be uneven.
- Visit on days with good light to better visualize the engravings.
- Explore carefully and respect the site to help preserve it.
