Ancient fortified settlement from the Iron Age, later occupied by the Romans.
Ruins of walls, foundations of round and square houses, and vestiges of an old chapel.
National Monument since 1910.
It can be visited from Lugar do Barral, following the EM 202 road.
Some archaeological finds have been discovered, such as Roman coins and ancient pottery.
