Inaugurated on March 21, 2009, World Tree Day, the Sobreda Multi-Purpose Park covers a considerable area, exceeding seven hectares. Its creation represented a significant environmental and landscape requalification of the area, transforming it into an inviting place for leisure and outdoor activities. The park integrates various facilities, designed to accommodate different groups of visitors and their recreational and well-being needs.

Outdoor Activities

This park offers a variety of options for those looking to enjoy their free time. For the youngest, there is a children's play area with slides, swings, and climbing structures. Radical sports enthusiasts will find a skate park equipped with ramps of different heights and a box. Furthermore, the park features an extensive fitness circuit, ideal for physical exercise, with equipment dedicated to abdominals, pull-ups, and jumps, among others. There are also picnic areas, perfect for outdoor social gatherings.

The Monument to Women

One of the distinctive elements of the Sobreda Multi-Purpose Park is its monument in homage to women. This work is composed of two main elements: a wall covered with tiles and a set of steel structures. Engraved on the tiles of the wall are the names of over three hundred women who, through their achievements, left a significant mark on history. The steel structures, in turn, form the letter "M", symbolizing the role of women in society and their contribution to a more solidary and developed future.
