Porto Covinho Beach is located in the town of Porto Covo, in the municipality of Sines, integrated into the protected landscape of the Southwest Alentejo and Vicentine Coast Natural Park.
This small beach nestles at the base of a cliff. To access the sandy area, it is necessary to descend a staircase, carved into the rock on the north side.
This is a beach of small dimensions, with a shell-shaped sandy area, composed of fine sand and bathed by clear water.
The cliffs surrounding it provide natural protection against the wind, creating a more sheltered environment.
The size of the sandy area of Porto Covinho Beach varies according to the tide. At low tide, the sandy space becomes visibly larger.
During these periods of low tide, it is possible to establish a pedestrian connection with an adjoining beach located to the south.
Despite its small size, Porto Covinho Beach offers an intimate atmosphere and privacy.
It is a secluded spot that invites calm and rest, ideal for those seeking a more secluded space by the sea.
