Praia da Tramagueira is located in the Torrões area, within the municipality of Sesimbra. It is situated south of the well-known Praia do Meco, with access precisely through the extensive sandy beach of this neighboring beach. It is characterized by being a more isolated location from urban centers, bordered by an imposing cliff.
This beach stands out for its vast sandy expanse, stretching for approximately 1.1 kilometers. This expanse is flanked by a striking cliff, whose clayey composition is sometimes used by visitors for natural skin treatments. At the top of this rocky structure, the landscape is complemented by characteristic dune vegetation and a pine forest.
The waters at Praia da Tramagueira are often somewhat rough. This characteristic makes the place a point of interest for those who practice water sports, such as surfing and bodyboarding, who find favorable conditions here for the practice of these modalities.
Due to its more isolated nature, away from more populated areas, Praia da Tramagueira is frequently sought after by naturists, this being a common use of the space. The environment tends to be tranquil, reflecting its natural setting.
