The estate dates back to the 17th century, having originally been a farmhouse. Over the years, it served as a Jesuit college and a stately residence of the Dukes of Palmela family. The property retains significant marks of its historical past.

The main building, classified as a Property of Municipal Interest, features 18th-century tiles, crafted wooden ceilings, and an imposing fireplace, originally from the Palácio do Calhariz in Lisbon. The decor combines antique furniture, family heirlooms, and a vintage atmosphere.
