This garden is dedicated to Lázaro Luís Zamenhof (1859-1917), a notable figure from Poland. Zamenhof was an ophthalmologist and philologist who became known worldwide for creating Esperanto. This language was conceived with the aim of being a neutral and universal language, facilitating communication between people of different cultures and nationalities.
