Located in Cova da Piedade, in the municipality of Almada, on the south bank of the Tagus River, near Lisbon.
It was the first industrial building in Portugal made with reinforced concrete, marking a significant advancement in the country's engineering.
Acquired by the Almada City Council in 2002. Currently, it is not open to the public for visits.
Since 2002, it has been considered a Property of Public Interest, recognized for its historical and architectural value.
The factory is an example of Almada's industrial heritage, reflecting the technological and economic evolution of the region in the early 20th century.
