Located in Alcochete, near the Tagus River.
Built in the 16th century by Dr. Afonso de Figueiredo, the chapel was built to serve as the burial place of the founder and his wife.
With a Mannerist style, the chapel has a nave with a vault and a chancel with a dome. The facade stands out for its rustic portal with a triangular pediment.
The space is decorated with 18th-century tiles, which illustrate the life of Our Lady, and the gilded wood carving on the main altar.
In 1986, the chapel was restored, including the restoration of the roof.
It is located on Rua do Norte and Rua da Senhora da Vida, in Alcochete.
Classified as a Property of Public Interest, it is part of a protection zone next to other historic buildings in the city.
