The Santo Estêvão golf course is situated in the area that gives it its name, in the locality of Santo Estêvão, an integral part of the municipality of Benavente. It is located in a markedly rural and preserved area, offering a tranquil atmosphere. Despite its rural surroundings, its position allows for relatively quick access from Lisbon, facilitating a transition to a more serene environment.

The Golf Course

Inaugurated in 2004, the Santo Estêvão golf course was designed by the renowned architect Donald Steel. It extends over an area of approximately 72 hectares, featuring an 18-hole course with a par of 73. Its layout is predominantly flat, and its fairways are lined with natural vegetation, including cork oaks, which blend into the local landscape.

The challenges of the course are defined by strategically placed bunkers, located both in the tee-off areas and in the vicinity of the greens. These, in turn, are large and characterized by a surface with distinct undulations, demanding precision from players.
