History

Built in the medieval period and renovated in the 17th and 18th centuries, acquiring its current appearance. It was an important religious and cultural center.

Architecture

Simple building with a single nave, side chapels, a tower with a bell tower, and a main chapel. The facade has an arched portal and a central window, with emphasis on the tower with a pyramidal dome.

Interior

Covered with antique tiles and a main altar in gilded wood carvings. It houses sculptures and religious paintings of great artistic and historical value.

Current Function

It does not hold regular celebrations, but it functions as a cultural space and center for sacred art.
