The Constância Main Church, also known as the Church of Nossa Senhora dos Mártires or the Church of São Julião, is located in the highest part of the town of Constância, in the municipality of Constância, in Portugal.
The construction of the church began more than four centuries ago and has been valued over time, making it an important point of historical interest in the region.
Inside the church, the ceiling painting by Malhoa stands out, a work of great artistic value. It is also possible to admire the image of Nossa Senhora da Boa Viagem, which is one of the most significant pieces in the space.
The Constância Main Church has been classified as a Property of Public Interest since 1954, which makes it even more relevant for those who visit the town and want to learn a little about its history and culture.
For tourists, the church is a must-see, both for its history and for its artistic and religious characteristics.
