Located in the historical center of Porto, on Rua Cândido dos Reis, the building is in a vibrant area of the city, close to other points of interest.
This building is a rare example of Art Nouveau style in the city of Porto. Its facade stands out for its ornamental details in stone and wrought iron, present in the windows and balconies.
With three floors, the ground floor is used for commerce, while the two upper floors are for housing. The window on the first floor is particularly noteworthy, with three elements joined by a decorative iron structure.
Built in the early 20th century, the building is part of a set of elegant buildings typical of the time. The street, opened in 1903, gained prominence for its architectural ensemble, with the Art Nouveau House being one of the most emblematic examples.
The building was classified as a Property of Public Interest in 1974, recognizing its historical and architectural value.
