The cable car's architectural project, signed by the studio Menos é Mais (by architects Cristina Guedes and Francisco Vieira de Campos), gives the Lower Station a modern and unique visual identity. Its structure is notable for the exterior cladding in metal slats, which create a visual effect of transparency and lightness.

This choice of materials and contemporary design allows the station to integrate fluidly into the riverside landscape, while introducing an element of aesthetics and modernity to the area.
