A structure featuring seven decorated columns, erected on a wall approximately 1.5 meters high. This loggia is a unique example in the region, combining elegant Renaissance details and offering a unique architectural vision in Portugal.
The side chapel, square in shape and accessible from inside the church, features a Manueline cross-ribbed ceiling. In the center of the space, there is a representation of Calvary, replacing the traditional altar.
The church, with a rectangular plan, has architectural elements from various periods, including decorative facades and a tower with a bell tower. The main facade exhibits an elaborate structure, with columns and windows that evoke different artistic styles.
The interior, renovated in the 18th century, includes altarpieces in gilded wood carvings and windows with beautiful carved details. The nave is covered with blue and white patterned tiles, adding a typical Portuguese touch.
The church is surrounded by a churchyard with century-old trees and two crosses in stonework, creating a peaceful and conducive environment for visiting and contemplation.
