The beach stretches at the foot of Leça da Palmeira, in the municipality of Matosinhos, positioned next to the port of Leixões. The northern quay wall offers some protection from the prevailing wind, creating a wide and flat sandy area facing the Atlantic.
The sandy area appears in an urban stretch, with direct access to the waterfront, and the contrast between the deep blue of the ocean and the port structure marks the coastal scenery.
The name "Titan" evokes the iconic cargo crane that rises on the horizon, a remnant of former shipbuilding facilities. This piece of engineering, painted in highly visible tones, gives the site a strong historical and architectural character.
The crane serves as a visual reference point, framing the space of sand and water, and recalling the maritime and industrial tradition of the region.
The wide strip of fine sand invites seaside strolls, with the rhythmic sound of waves gently breaking. The water, cool even on warm days, reflects the movement of the clouds and creates shallow areas that sparkle under the sun.
On clear afternoons, it is possible to observe the coming and going of seagulls and fishing boats offshore, in a permanent encounter between marine activity and landscape contemplation.
