Coim Beach is located in Póvoa de Varzim, within the parish of Aver-o-Mar. This maritime beach, bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, is situated on the seafront of Aldeia Nova, positioned between Praia do Esteiro and Praia do Quião.
It is characterized by a white sandy area, presenting a more modest extension. Unlike some neighboring beaches, Coim Beach stands out for the scarce presence of rock formations, both on its sandy area and in its waters, offering a space freer from natural obstacles.
Coim Beach is recognized for the quality of its bathing waters, holding the distinction of "Golden Quality Beach" awarded by Quercus. This award highlights the good or excellent water quality systematically over several years, thus providing greater confidence to visitors. Additionally, it was awarded the Blue Flag and is identified as an accessible beach, facilitating access for various visitors.
The atmosphere at this beach is generally more tranquil, being a place somewhat frequented by visitors. Its sandy area, of inviting size, allows for the usual practice of various sand sports, inviting leisure and enjoyment of the coastline in a relaxed environment.
