The Termas de São Vicente (São Vicente Thermal Baths) are located in the parish of Termas de São Vicente, in the municipality of Penafiel, and are the region's main tourist attraction.
These thermal waters have been recognized since Roman times, in 315 AD. Their quality and healing properties have been maintained over the centuries.
The spa has recently been renovated and expanded, offering a dynamic pool where various treatments can be performed, such as jacuzzi, waterfalls, and hydromassage.
The Termas offer a wide range of treatments for respiratory and muscular problems. Among the services available are inhalations, therapeutic massages, and baths in VIP rooms.
The waters of Termas de São Vicente are highly valued for being rich in minerals, with a temperature of 18.5ºC. They are considered one of the most alkaline sulphurous waters in Europe.
The thermal baths are recommended for the treatment of respiratory diseases and muscular problems.
Near the thermal baths, it is possible to visit the ruins of the ancient Roman spa, a monument of public interest.
Next to the Termas, there are outdoor swimming pools that are open to the public, perfect for a day of leisure.
The Palace Hotel and Spa offers direct access to the thermal spa and spa, allowing for a complete and relaxing experience.
