Situated in the Quires area, next to the Lidador Urbanization, this green space harmoniously integrates into the surrounding residential area, serving as a point of leisure and gathering for the community. Access is facilitated via Rua do Castanhal and Rua Nova de Quires.

Structure and Design of the Space

The park stands out for its design in two distinct levels, arranged in a terraced formation. This organization allows for a smooth transition between different areas, with the upper part offering a broad perspective over the lower level. Natural richness is one of Quires Park's strengths, with extensive patches of herbaceous, shrub, and arboreal vegetation. The presence of an imposing Cork Oak stands out, a large tree that already existed on site before its construction and was preserved, ensuring the continuity of this protected species. The landscape design also includes four small gardens, whose flowerbeds were geometrically designed. The choice of plants in these flowerbeds aims to reflect the different seasons, providing a constantly renewing landscape. Throughout the park, young trees promise pleasant shade over garden benches in the future, ideal for moments of rest.

For those seeking a more dynamic environment, Quires Park features an active recreation area. It includes a modern playground, designed with original structures that encourage fun and play. This area dedicated to children is flanked by a vast lawn area, extending to the pathway and a small granite wall.
