Paredes City Park is located in a central area of the town of Paredes, in the area known as Madalena. This green space is integrated into the urban environment, offering a direct connection with nature even while being in the heart of the city.

It is situated on the banks of the Ribeira de Sentiais, a tributary of the River Sousa, and is crossed by a small stream, which contributes to the serene and natural environment of the place.

Opened in July 2000, the City Park covers an area of approximately 2.5 hectares, establishing itself as a primary location for socialising and direct contact with nature. It is a space designed to offer a green refuge, inviting visitors to enjoy moments of leisure and tranquility.

Its expanse and diversity of environments provide a suitable setting for various activities, from a leisurely stroll to physical exercise, always in an open and inviting atmosphere.
