Residential building designed in 1953 by Viana de Lima, based on innovative ideas of modern architecture.
The building is set back from the street and has a striking marquee at the entrance. The balconies and the use of brick and glass on the facade stand out.
Influenced by the principles of Le Corbusier, with a focus on functionality and the practical distribution of apartments through an internal gallery.
Monument of Public Interest since 2013, due to its architectural importance.
It was part of a larger project that envisioned other blocks, but this was the only one built.
