Located in Padronelo, Amarante, accessible by a narrow road after leaving the main road.
Old medieval manor house, with a rectangular shape and granite walls. The main entrance has a large arch, and inside you can still see the bases of the upper floor.
The building is in ruins, but preserves its original structure. It is part of a restoration project to integrate the Romanesque Route.
Related to the legendary figure of Dona Loba Mendes, whose story was told by Frei Luís de Sousa. The construction is attributed to the Romanesque period, possibly from the 12th century.
Located in a rural area, it offers views over a valley and is surrounded by ruins, standing out for its presence on top of an elevation.
Although in the restoration phase, the place is interesting for those who appreciate historical monuments and natural landscapes.
