History

- Construction began in 1895, with the building completed between 1899 and 1900.

- Served as a school since 1926, passing through the Colégio de Nossa Senhora do Rosário and, later, the Colégio dos Maristas until 1991.

- After a restoration in 2006, the building now houses a private banking branch of Banco Espírito Santo.

Recognition

- Received the João de Almada Award in 2006 for its restoration, highlighting its architectural and historical importance.
