Located in Lamoso, Paços de Ferreira, between the Eiriz and Carvalhosa rivers.

Structure

Megalithic monument with a polygonal burial chamber and a short corridor.

Dimensions

The mamoa is about 25 meters in diameter and 3 meters high. The chamber is made of nine pillars and has a covering slab with an engraved figure.

It has a corridor approximately 3 meters long.

Importance

Classified as a Property of Public Interest since 1967, it is a relevant historical-cultural landmark.

History

It is believed to have been built around 3000 BC, representing the funerary architecture of megalithism.
