This ancient temple carries centuries of history, dating back to a period between the late 12th and early 13th centuries. Its longevity makes it a valuable testament to the evolution and faith of the communities that have inhabited Arcozelo over generations, remaining a link between the locality's past and present.
The Old Church of Arcozelo features compact architecture, with a rectangular plan that defines its main structure.
