Quinta do Passal is located in Gramido, in the municipality of Gondomar. This space occupies a revitalized former agricultural estate, integrated into the region's historic core. Considering four-legged companions, the quinta offers a dog park and a center dedicated to dog socialization. There is also the possibility to use bicycles to explore the local paths.
Quinta do Passal stands out for its focus on sustainability and environmental education. The architectural project that guided its requalification took resource optimization into account, using solar and photovoltaic panels for energy and utilizing borehole water for irrigating the gardens and vegetable patches. One of the notable features of the site is its community organic vegetable garden, which serves as an example of organic farming and composting practices. Additionally, the Quinta hosts an Environmental Education Center, a facility dedicated to raising awareness on topics such as water, biodiversity, forests, climate change, organic farming, healthy eating, and animal protection. This center seeks to encourage greater awareness about sustainability and the environment.
