Quinta de Montezelo is a manor house dating back to the 17th century, built in 1636, located in the parish of Fânzeres and São Pedro da Cova, in the municipality of Gondomar, near Porto.
The property is an example of stately architecture, classified as a Property of Public Interest since 1993. The main building maintains its original design with details of great historical value.
In 1703, a chapel dedicated to Our Lady of the Conception was added to the manor house. The altar is crafted in polychrome wood carving, which adds color and detail to the interior.
In the gardens of the quinta, there is an imposing magnolia tree that is approximately 300 years old, being one of the main points of interest for visitors.
The quinta includes well-maintained green spaces, such as the Japanese garden and the patio with Portuguese pavement, which provide a tranquil environment for strolling.
