Over the years, the club has accumulated significant recognition; in 1993, it was distinguished by the Portuguese Golf Federation as "The Club of the Year," and has been consistently named one of the best golf courses in Portugal by various entities. Its reputation is also consolidated by hosting important events, such as the Portuguese Golf Federation Cup.
