The Municipal Pools are located in the city of Amarante, integrated into the Formão area. They are situated in the heart of the Forest Park, a green lung that embraces the urban area. Concept and Adaptation

Inaugurated in February 1995, the Amarante Municipal Pools were designed with a particularity that makes them adaptable to different seasons. During the colder months, the main pool area is covered, providing a sheltered space for swimming.

With the arrival of warmer weather, the cover is removed. This transformation results in a large outdoor leisure space, where bathers can enjoy the sun and the coolness of the water. This versatility allows the venue to be a point of reference for locals and visitors at any time of year, always offering a suitable environment for socializing and aquatic activities.
