Located in the parish of Santa Maria da Devesa, Castelo de Vide, in a rural area on top of a hill with holm oaks.
Prehistoric dolmen built during the Neolithic and Chalcolithic periods, used for funerary purposes.
Composed of large vertical stones, five of the original seven pillars remain. The capstone is still in place, but tilted to the west.
The monument is damaged, with several stones fallen due to erosion and the sloping terrain.
Classified as a Property of Public Interest since 1997, it is a cultural and archaeological reference of the region.
9 km from the Church of Santo Amador, following a dirt road to Monte do Garriancho, with a short walk to reach the dolmen.
