The Prehistoric Settlement of Santa Vitória is located in Campo Maior, in the district of Portalegre, Portugal, and dates back to the Chalcolithic period, approximately the 3rd Millennium BC.
The settlement is located on the agricultural property known as Vale da Preguiça. This area was acquired by the Portuguese State and is currently in the process of being classified as a Property of Public Interest.
The site presents two distinct phases of prehistoric occupation, revealing vestiges of ceramics, loom weights, cheese molds, and agricultural tools that help us understand the lifestyle of the people who lived here millennia ago.
