Anta da Venda is located in the locality of Ajuda, in the Salvador and Santo Ildefonso region, in the municipality of Elvas.
It is also known as Anta da Aldeia da Venda or simply Venda.
It is a small monument with a partially preserved tumulus (mamoa). The three pillars of the chamber are about 30cm wide and 12cm thick, standing about 20cm above the ground. In addition, there is a preserved pillar of the corridor.
The monument has a remarkable architecture, with elements of the chamber and the corridor still visible, although the covering and part of the tumulus are no longer visible.
Anta da Venda is an archaeological attraction that offers tourists the opportunity to explore an ancient and mysterious monument, providing a fascinating insight into the history of the region.
