Located in the rural area of Elvas, with easy access via the EN 373 road and a walk of about 300 meters to the top of a hill.
Megalithic funerary monument, dating from between the 5th and 3rd millennium BC. It features a chamber with several vertical stones (uprights) and a corridor, both partially preserved.
Isolated in a montado landscape (cork oaks and holm oaks), the dolmen is located on top of a hill with an olive tree between the main stones.
Monument of public interest, it stands out for its good state of preservation and is part of the archaeological circuit of the Elvas region.
Today it is a point of tourist and cultural interest, linked to prehistoric heritage.
