Taguspark is located in Porto Salvo, in the municipality of Oeiras, in a strategic position within the Lisbon Metropolitan Area. It is situated at the northwestern edge of Oeiras, bordering the municipalities of Sintra and Cascais, which gives it a diverse geographical environment. It benefits from proximity to major road networks and offers unobstructed views of the surrounding landscape, with an abundance of green areas that contribute to a pleasant environment.
Inaugurated in 1992, Taguspark is recognized as Portugal's first science and technology park and one of the largest in Europe. It was conceived with the vision of being a hub for the development of human knowledge, integrating the university and the business sector. This avant-garde space houses, for example, the campus of Instituto Superior Técnico, which stands out for the close link between engineering education and the reality of businesses, creating a dynamic and future-oriented atmosphere.
Taguspark features a predominantly modern architecture, with buildings housing laboratories and workspaces, designed for functionality and interaction. At its center, a Central Plaza stands out, a pedestrian area spanning approximately 10,000 square meters, designed to be a meeting and social gathering point. In addition to the built areas, the complex integrates extensive landscaped spaces and a golf course, which harmonize with the landscape, offering a contemporary and vast setting to explore.
