- It is located in Largo Rafael Bordalo Pinheiro, formerly known as Largo da Abegoaria.
- Built in 1864 on land that belonged to the Convent of the Trinity.
- Commissioned by Manuel Moreira Garcia, a Galician emigrant and owner of the Cervejaria Trindade (Trindade Brewery).
- Classified as a Property of Public Interest since 1978.
- The exterior tile decoration features Masonic motifs.
- It includes six allegorical figures: Earth, Water, Commerce, Industry, Science, and Agriculture.
- The decoration was done by Luís Ferreira, known as "Ferreira das Tabuletas".
- Rafael Bordalo Pinheiro, the famous creator of Zé Povinho, lived here and died in the building in 1905.
