Situated in the parish of Rio de Mouro, in the municipality of Sintra, the Serra das Minas Urban Park is integrated into a predominantly residential area of the locality of Serra das Minas. It is located south of Rua de Plutão and is delimited, to the south, by the IC19 motorway. Its presence offers a significant space for leisure and contact with nature within an urban context.

Walkways and the pedestrian bridge have been refurbished, and staircases and protective railings renewed, ensuring a safer and more comfortable route. These improvements aim, in particular, to make the southern area of the park more accessible for people with reduced mobility.
