This venue stands out for its dedicated focus on photography and video art originating from China and Japan. It was conceived with the intention of presenting relevant works and artists from these geographies to the Portuguese public. The vision behind this project is linked to its founder's long-standing relationship with Asia, particularly Macao, serving as a cultural link through imagery.

Beyond Exhibitions

Beyond the areas dedicated to presenting artworks, Ochre Space also hosts other elements that enrich the experience. It includes a bookstore and an associated publishing space, primarily dedicated to publications on photography and video art, with a particular focus on Asian editions.
