Located in the town of Cascais, set in a beautiful seaside setting.
Built in 1890 by Jorge O'Neill in a revivalist style, it stands out for its imposing Tower of São Sebastião, of medieval inspiration.
The Count of Castro Guimarães acquired the palace and expanded it. After his death in 1927, he donated it to the town of Cascais for the creation of a museum and library.
Includes paintings from the time of its construction, oriental porcelain, 17th-century tableware, and a bibliographic collection of over 25,000 books.
The English-style gardens are a pleasant space for walking and relaxing.
The museum and library have been open since 1931, allowing visitors to discover this cultural heritage.
