Junqueira 220 is dedicated to specialized work: the conservation and restoration of cultural and artistic assets. The focus is on preserving pieces of historical and artistic value, ensuring that their integrity and beauty are maintained over time.
This activity involves careful techniques and in-depth knowledge to intervene in different types of works, from painting to other forms of art and heritage, contributing to the safeguarding of material memory.
The history of Junqueira 220 dates back to 1992. It was founded by Carmen Olazabal Almada and Luís Tovar Lemos Figueira.
Both founders received specialized training in conservation and restoration in the 1970s at the Instituto Central de Conservación y Restauración de Bienes Culturales in Madrid. This foundation of knowledge and experience, acquired at a renowned institution, underpins the work developed at the studio.
